<p>

    Even though the opening is the most iconic part of

    <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guns_N%27_Roses">Guns N' Roses'</a>

    <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_Child_o%27_Mine"><em>Sweet Child o' Mine</em></a>,

    I wanted to test the limits of my wah pedal so I covered the solo instead.

    The softer, first solo is pretty straightforward, and the harder, second one is 

    mostly a series of pentatonic bends and (in my opinion) overly-gratuitous use

    of the wah pedal.

<p>

    Of all the <glacius:link category="Guitar">guitar solos</glacius:link> I've

    covered (so far), I definitely spent the most amount of time practicing

    this one. The initial two bars required a metronome, and the succession of

    16th triplet hammer-ons/pull-offs and bends near the end was

    by far the most difficult part. It doesn't even sound that hard, but it's

    one of those paradoxical sounds-easy-but-difficult-to-play passages.
