    After <glacius:link page="music/projects/betrayed-solo">my last Avenged Sevenfold</glacius:link>

    solo cover, I got into them a little more. I bought their 2013 album

    <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hail_to_the_King_(Avenged_Sevenfold_album)">Hail to

    the King</a>, of which the 

    <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hail_to_the_King_(song)">titular song</a> is quite rad.

    It's basically <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synyster_Gates">Synyster Gates</a>

    playing sixteenth notes for five minutes; truly an impressive

    display of stamina.

</p>

<p>

    The solo is also pretty neat, and has a definite neo-classical vibe to it.
